If you don’t have a good vacuum cleaner, or having air quality issues, you need to learn how to vacuum your home professionally with this easy-to-follow Video.
There are two reasons to know how to vacuum a room professionally:
. Because you don’t own a good vacuum cleaner – and bugger because you really NEED to own or borrow one if you have dust in your room, 99.9% of the population do.
. Because there is a major problem that can’t be solved without dusting or vacuuming, like indoor air quality.

What You’ll Need to Vacuum Your Room and Home
1. Attach the power head to the vacuum pole.
2. Take one end of the vacuum hose and attach it to the top of the vacuum pole. Attach the other end of the hose to the vacuum canister or barrel.
3. Place HEPA filter in canister according to your vacuum cleaner model.
4. Models that use a bag, make sure it is a new, clean bag.
5. Place power head in position on carpet flooring – all the way to one side of the room so the power head rests directly on the floor next to the skirting board.
6. With the power switched on, guide the power head with the vacuum pole handle, slowly along the skirting board. This will pound and suck up dust and affiliated debris.
Note: The slower you guide the power head, the more effective the extraction of ground in dust and dirt. Once you have reached the end of the first run, guide the power head directly back over the same track, slowly.
7. Once back where you started, guide the power head over the next direct run.
8. If you bump into furnishings, either move the item aside and continue on along the run.
Note: Heavier furnishings that cannot be moved, go around the item several times. Move the power head as close as possible to get as much of the dust and debris as possible.
This will create the cleanest possible scenario. You can use a smaller tool to really get into the nooks and crevices, get real close and flush.
9. When it comes to vacuuming your room, slow and steady wins the race. When trying to rush vacuuming, it will just pick up small amount of dust and debris if any and force another vacuum session.
10. So you got to the other side of the room, touching the opposite skirting board edge. Congratulations, you’ve completed the first pass over! Guide and retrace the power head back over the same area you have just completed, return next to the original skirting board, well done!
No time to waste, you have completed first round! Yes, there is another round. Go to the skirting board that you have not touched yet, right angle to where you first started.
Repeat slow, effective vacuuming.
At this time I would recommend getting a very good vacuum cleaner if you don’t already have one. You will be thankful!
